Welcome to The Sideline Society: Your New Playbook for Busy Sports Families (Including Celiac-Friendly Tips!

If you’re a busy sports parent trying to juggle practices, tournaments, homework, packing, carpool, snacks, and somewhere in there still remembering your sanity—you’re in the right place.

Welcome to The Sideline Society, a space designed for families who live their lives on the sidelines. And if you’re also navigating celiac while doing all of that?

You’re definitely in the right place.

Whether your kids play baseball, soccer, gymnastics, dance, basketball, or travel sports, this blog is where sports life meets real life—and where you’ll find tips, hacks, and ideas to help your whole family feel more prepared.

Why I Started The Sideline Society

After years of early-morning tournaments, cross-state weekends, endless laundry, and late-night Amazon searches for the right cooler, the right sideline chair, or the right hair product…I realized something:

Sports moms needed a central place for practical tips, smart shortcuts, and product recommendations that actually help.

Then, when two of my kids were diagnosed with celiac, our travel sports world changed again.

Suddenly I wasn’t just packing gear—I was packing:

  • Gluten-free snacks for long tournament days

  • Safe options for hotel breakfasts

  • GF meals for road trips

  • Backup foods for restaurants that couldn’t accommodate

I quickly learned that navigating travel sports with celiac is a sport of its own, and there aren’t many resources for families like ours.

So I decided to build what I wish existed.

The Sideline Society is here to support ALL sports families—

and to give gluten-free/celiac families the tips and confidence to travel and compete safely.
